Sony Ericsson has launched its first Walkman™ phone with smartphone capabilities in India codename Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman™. The Phone is also known by the name of Sony Ericsson XPERIA W8 in some part of the world.

Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman™ combines a music phone and smart phone features.
W8 is running Eclair, Android 2.1 operating system on a 600 MHz ARM 11 processor, Adreno 200 GPU, Qualcomm MSM7227 chipset. The phone has 128MB built-in phone memory and supports micro SD memory card expansion up to 16GB. The camera is equipped with a 3.15 MP ( 2048x1536 pixels) and supports video recording on VGA resolution at a maximum 30fps.
The phone has 3.5mm headphone jack and MH410 stereo headphones included in the box.[]
