Skype for Symbian is a free application for mobile handsets running the Symbian operating system, the world's most popular smartphone platform. Skype for Symbian allows users worldwide to use Skype on the move, over either a WiFi or mobile data connection (GPRS, EDGE, 3G).

Compatible Phone models
The initial Skype for Symbian client is compatible with Nokia models N96, N79, N85, 5320, 6210 Navigator, 6220, N78, E71 and 5800, N97, N97 Mini, X6 and 5530. Skype will introduce a version of Skype for Symbian working with other smart-phones including E63, E66, N82, N95, E51, N95, N95 8GB, N81, N81 8GB, 6121, 6120, 5700, 6110 Navigator, E90, N76, 6290.
Skype for Symbian will run on any smart-phone using the latest version of the Symbian operating system. Available at launch on Nokia devices, Skype will soon introduce this client to Symbian phones from other brands, including Sony Ericsson.
